A 1992 disappearance case is being investigated by devil town as the journalist Wes Ferguson is still figuring out what happened with the girl and goes back to his hometown to uncover the truth.
Kelly Dae Wilson went missing on January 5, 1992, from her hometown Gilmer Texas. She was 17 years old at the time of her disappearance and was still studying at Gilmer High School.
On the evening of January 5, 1992, around 8:30 pm, Kelly left her workplace “Northeast Texas Video” store, got into her car, and drove to the closeby bank to drop off the night’s deposit.
She mentioned she would go to a party after but was never found or heard from again. Her manager Joe Henry was the last person to see her alive.
The following day, Henry got a call from Kelly’s mother concerning her daughter. She had asked him if she had mentioned dropping off somewhere last night.
Apparently, she was supposed to go to a friend’s house, but Henry said he didn’t have any idea about it.
Kelly’s car was found outside her workplace with a flat tire. Her things were seen in the car, but the keys were not found.
She was last seen wearing cut-off blue bottoms, a purple rugby shirt with red, gold, and white crests, and brown-colored shoes.
She was wearing several gold rings, a bracelet, and a watch paired with triangle earrings.
A recorded video from the bank was found, and someone was seen making the deposit that night, but it was not clear if it was Kelly.
The police began the investigation into Kelly Wilson’s disappearance
After her disappearance became obvious, the investigation to find her began.
The case was initiated under the investigation of Sgt. James Brown from Gilmer Police Department.
But as the circumstances were brought to light, after two years, Sgt.Brown and seven other people were charged with Kelly’s disappearance and supposed murder.
It was rumored the crime was related to satanic ritual activities and cult participants who used to perform brutal acts and human sacrifices.
Kelly’s classmate was also a suspect and charged with splashing her car tire, but as no proof led to her disappearance, he remained innocent.
Another alleged suspect was Wilson’s then-boyfriend, Chris Denton. However, he was never found guilty and deceased of cancer in 2004.
After the investigation, all the charges were dropped from all eight potential suspects, and Kelly remains missing to this day.
The case is still open and under the investigation of Wes Ferguson, who returned to his hometown to figure out what happened to her.
