Maggie is commonly referred to as “Cookie.” In addition to being the devoted mother of Mary Ann Ditta and Charles Ditta (Donna), Margaret was also the adored grandma of Samantha and Justin. She was the beloved wife of Charles Ditta, who passed away twelve years ago.
Those who are left behind include her sister-in-law Marie Pomilla, as well as a large number of devoted nieces, nephews, and friends.
Staten Island is where Margaret eventually settled after having spent her childhood in Brooklyn. In addition to working at a number of Staten Island restaurants, she spent several years working for Citibank. Margaret was a dog lover and had a large number of pets over the course of her life.
